Washing Frequency: Wash your wig every 2-4 weeks depending on how often you wear it and your styling habits. More frequent styling may require more frequent washing.

Washing Steps:

1. Fill a basin with cool water and add sulfate-free shampoo designed for wigs.

2. Submerge the wig and gently swish it around for 2-3 minutes without rubbing or scrubbing.

3. Rinse thoroughly with cool running water until the water runs clear.

4. Apply a wig conditioner and let it sit for 5-10 minutes to restore moisture and softness.

5. Rinse again with cool water until all conditioner is removed.

Drying: Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing. Place the wig on a wig stand and allow it to air dry completely. Never use a blow dryer unless your wig is specifically heat-resistant.

Pro Tip: Always use cool water and avoid hot water, which can damage synthetic fibers and cause tangling.

Measuring Your Head: Use a soft measuring tape to measure around your head at the widest point, going across your forehead and around the back of your head. Record this measurement in inches or centimeters.

Standard Wig Sizes: Most wigs come in these standard sizes:

1. Apply a wig cap over your prepared hair to create a smooth foundation and protect your natural hair.

2. Hold the wig at the front hairline with both hands.

3. Gently stretch the wig over your head, starting from the front and moving toward the back.

4. Position the front hairline about 1 inch from your natural hairline for a natural appearance.

5. Adjust the wig so it sits evenly on your head.

6. Secure any adjustable straps, combs, or hooks at the back for a snug fit.

Removal Steps:

1. Gently lift the wig from the back, supporting the hair as you remove it.

2. Carefully take off the wig cap from your natural hair.

3. Gently unravel your braids or undo your protective style.

Important: Never pull the wig off forcefully, as this can damage both the wig and your natural hair.

Styling Your Wig: Wigs offer incredible versatility. You can wear them down, in updos, half-ups, side ponytails, or with accessories like clips, headbands, and scarves. For heat-resistant wigs, you can use flat irons or curling irons up to the specified temperature (typically 350°F). Always use heat protectant spray before applying heat.

Daily Maintenance: Gently detangle your wig using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush, starting from the ends and working upward. Avoid pulling or tugging harshly. Use a leave-in conditioner or moisturizing spray to keep fibers hydrated and prevent dryness.

Storage: Store your wig on a wig stand or in a breathable bag to maintain its shape and quality. Keep it away from direct heat, sunlight, humidity, and extreme temperatures. A cool, dry place is ideal.

Handling: Always handle your wig gently. Avoid sleeping in your wig, as this can cause tangling and matting. Remove your wig before swimming or showering.
